I dealt with Gavin Marine he's in the Mid US ..... excellent stand up guy...and cheap for brand new... I have his number at the office if you actually want it I will post it tomorrow

I think the Simrek is an excellent product and easy to install. Cheap insurance and good quality.

I bought 8 uppers from Gavin over the years and they were all 100% . I took the new uppers and added upgrades and ran imco lowers. Had awesome results behind big power 750hp to 1000hp. They worked so well, I built them for several buddies.

I bought an XR from Gavin but they had not done the input brg preload nut fix and the nut backed out and took out the drive after 3 seasons so be aware that you need to fix that issue. Victory opens them up and hard shims the input bearings. Both companies are good but be sure that nut is at least loc-tited and preferably hard shimmed.
