Default Who Has The Best Pricing on XR Drives and Parts?

Who do you guys buy your drives and parts from? I see some good prices in the classifieds on uppers and drives from Victory Marine, Marine Power Supply, and Coastal Marine Export. I'm hesitant to deal with anyone that I don't already know and trust. I'm just thinking anything could happen- SEI drives with Mercury stickers, drives advertised as new but really rebuilt with chinese junk, who knows.

Anyone have experience dealing with any of these companies? Who else has competitive pricing and a solid reputation?

I often wondered if mercury had the Chinese making the XR upper gears ( due to the lack of quality)

I buy from BAM or the Bravo shop

Victory is awesome I bought a bravo drive from them a few years ago for my 27' Fountain. They had the best price and they had scratch and dent units brand new from Merc which is what I bought. Still came with full warranty.

Spend the extra money and get the teague billet main caps. The added thickness and rigidity will help drive life. Xr top caps are known for flexing under tq load, this will prevent that. Also a simrek drive shower to keep heat down.... an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
