Ruffled Feathers Skater Undergoing Transformation at Chief

This 2002 32-foot Skater is at Chief Performance getting refreshed for the poker run season for Miami's Frank Areces—and the offshore racer is looking forward to his first poker run and many more.

Its at the right place. Tommy is the best.

Thanks everyone. Tommy and team are the best. It's the only place we trust and always take our boats. As we speak parts and motors are getting painted. Also thanks to Ron (Double Rigged) for the electronics and Rob from Rob Rich Graphix for our crew apparel. Looking forward to doing lots of PR.

Can't wait to see it when it's done.

Be careful, Frank... and get JT to take you out Haulover. Can't begin to tell you how much I learned in such a short period of time with him behind the wheel. Everything seemed completely backwards compared to driving the v's.

With that power, I'm bettin' that's going to be too much diameter on the props (possibly 1/4 inch too much). If I'm right, careful with the stern coming around when it lifts, especially under high speed acceleration.

Looking forward to seeing the finished product, it's going to be a 'screamer' for sure!

Good luck Frank and Mike!

Thanks everyone, we are definitely excited. Good advice Joe. I will take it slow and get the feel with some seat time before pushing the Rs.

When your boat was put together by the original owner, the rigging was laid out very well, super clean, and very simple stout. Ive always like the 32 B and your boat, enjoy.

It's very clean and spotless to say the least. According to Gary from GT performance, others and the condition of the boat, the hull has very low hrs.

Ive heard the same also. I feel like an idiot but for the life of me I can't remember his name. The guy had mad skills setting boats up and the times I've seen it in Havasu it was very well taken care of. I had a 32 Skater with 6s and 900s, probably my most favorite cat I've owned. If you look over in the Doug Wright classifieds that 32 thats for sale at TNT, I was the first owner of that boat but a guy made an offer on it before I finished it that I could not pass on. To this day I kick myself for not finishing it. The guy that bought it from me let it go to **** but TNT sure did a nice job on completing it. I look at it 3 times a week, I'd love to own it again.
