The plane will go 1000 miles on 80 gallons, so it would have no problem ferrying 2,500 with over 300 gallons on board... |

He had aux tanks in place of the rear seats for the ferry flight. His transfer switch failed and he couldn't use the extra fuel. He knew well ahead of time he was going down, hence why the CG was on scene as he went down. Flown in the SR22 a couple times, cool plane. |
