So after that long poker run weekend your $200,000 motor package warranty just expired. Sorry!

9 liter? is this mercs own long block or is it an marinized AMG? if its amg that is a great marriage those engines are awesome! the germans really have metalurgy, coatings and even machining down and are building some beautiful engines now if merc would marinize the W16 that engine is just to cool not to be in a boat!

It doesn't matter what prop, if it doesn't have 40:1 compression its going to be a dog at 1900 rpm.

This has been talked about for a while. The idea is to use the big power at special events (Shootout, timed runs, etc.) while still having the reliability and warranty of the proven 1350 package.
10 hours seems a bit lame though. 25 would be more realistic, IMHO.
