MTI Working on Smaller Catamaran and Bigger V-Bottom

Along with four jaw-dropping boats in its booth, MTI lets "little" and "big" news out of the bag.

Good to see some more outboard racing competition available.

It might take me a long time to warm up to those large MTI inboard engine humps on an otherwise sleek OB cat, but I'm super excited to see another cat in the 32-34 foot range!

Cat looks awesome, and a 57CC is just over the top. Can't wait to see them both.

So much great stuff coming out now I love it.

The model of the cat at the show looked very nice with very sleek lines and aerodynamics. Very interested in seeing this boat when completed!

Nice design for the cat but I don't ever see myself owning one. For the type of boating I do I need a bigger cockpit and some type of enclosed cabin for storage, a portapotti and a spot to change clothes from time to time. We usually spend most the whole day on the boats with friends and family anchored. So for now the west coast style cats still fit our needs better.

their "smaller" cat with twin 400R's is a big WiN I think.

Can't wait to see future build pics on this one :)

MTI has an advertisement of their MTI-V 42 XSF in Florida Sport Fishing this month. They are definitely working on expanding their presence! If they need an angler to test this beauty I'm available!

We certainly have a lot going on.... Everything is moving right along.
The first 34 is now out of the mold and getting the deck put on now.
The boat looks great and will be coming together very quickly from this point.
I'll post pics when the boat is together...

The boat has a 10' beam. It's not a small boat by any means. We had no intention of making a smaller 28 or 29' cat... We wanted to have a boat that would run good on a pair of 400s, but not be so small that it can't run through the bumps..

Pics to come... Stand by.

Brad, The ad was interesting..... I didn't place the ad... The owner of the boat actually put the ad out there as a "Thank you" to us. The white boat in the ad is the first XSF. Richard fishes the boat very hard.. It spends a lot of time running from the Bahamas to FL, and is now in the carolinas... He just did the Hartwell poker run as well. His boat is a year old and last I saw, it had 325 hours on it.
The second XSF is s black and orange boat and it now resides in Deerfield Beach FL.
Both of the boats have quad 350 Verados and run 75+mph.

The 42 works very well as a fishing platform..but also has the sport and comforts of an MTI. It's not the same thing as a Yellowfin or HydraSports... nor is it intended to compete directly with a "Hardcore fish boat"
