New Sonic 42 Hypersonic 1100's

It will be ok size wise, but the weight is going to be really close. Spoke to the rep at Hydrohoist and they think I'll be fine. The boats right at 12,000lbs dry and the lift is good for 12,500. The rep told me there's about 800lbs more lifting capacity, they just rate them conservatively. If it doesn't work out I'll have to go with a 15k lift. I'll give you a deal on mine .. And yes, over 100 in Buzzards Bay is not going to happen often.

Super nice Sonic. What happened to the Formula? Without giving out actual numbers, what is the approximate cost difference between a new 1100 Sonic and lets say a new 1100 Cigarette? Curious on the savings.

Sold the Formula back in October. I think it ended up in Florida. Not sure on the price difference, as I have no idea what an 1100 powered Cig would cost. It was a ton of fun building this one. I went back and forth to Florida quite a few times to check on it. From the building of the plug, to the molds, then popping the hull, it was a blast. Looking forward to a few runs this summer. Have always wanted to do the Between The Bridges run.
