Good video. Yeah, I'm a fan of the old 2-strokes that scream. The 4-strokes of today especially sound pretty boring in comparison.

A Facebook page for Design it, Drive it: Speedboats has just been started. Those with any interest in the boat simulator will get more information there as development continues.

Ha! Ok, this was a fun first. I got collisions working, so naturally the first thing I did was run the boat over a little point that sticks out in the lake. It jumped a lot better than I thought it would. :D

every time i see that this thread has been recently posted on i hope that its a video of something you did to the game, and i was not disappointed:drool1:

Thanks, Jack. :)
If you're on Facebook, you might want to join the group. The link is in the post just above the video. I just started that FB group a few days ago and have posted a few things there already. Since I'm on Facebook constantly, when I have something to share I post it there first. |

no its an actual Pioneer KURO monitor. I like it but its may be to big lol
|
50 inch?? That's great. What's the resolution on something that big?
I run three 24" monitors at 1920x1200 a piece for 5870x1200 total res. Works great, although my favorite way to run Design it, Drive it : Speedboats is in the Oculus Rift (I've got a DK2). It's really something to see in virtual reality. |
no idea what the res is, a friend of mine just did a remodel on a local movie theater and ended up with a half a dozen of them. I grabbed one and hooked it to my home pc, its pretty crisp and truth be told the only game i ever played was Half Life and all its squeals and spin offs lol. The screen gives me a headache if i sit in front of it to long :picard1: :D . . . .
the speedboat sim would be cool in VR  |
lovin the game btw:drool1:

Should be 1920x1080. That'll work. 50" is awesome any way you look at it. :) Jack: Thanks! Glad to hear it. :) |
This company contacted me yesterday about adding support for their motion platforms. Definitely interested!
