well, I had a great time at LOTO, but in the long run it cost me the transmission :(

made it home. Had some hard shifts on the way. Had fluid changed in Iowa. Dropped off boat at the storage this afternoon and then ran down to drop off the borrowed props.
Never was able to get it out of first gear :(
Barley made it back to a friends shop. Also lost reverse in the process.
Anyone have a grand I can borrow :(

Now the bad news.
Boss gave me saturday off for our local Poker run.
I have no way of getting the boat there.
Not to mention the Omaha shoot-out I was, repeat, WAS thinking about attending :(

Oh well, could be worse. I could be stuck somewhere on the side of the road.
Would rather be stuck back in LOTO :)

don't feel bad i popped the tranny on my 1500 a few weeks ago. I killed 2nd and reverse BUT it happened on my way to Virginia. (6 hours west of richmond) I actually drove it all the back 13 hours to NY. I owudn;t tow withit but it made it home. If you can get eth tranny in time its a full day job. Good luck.
