Default First Mercury Racing Verado 400 R Outboard Skater Catamaran Under Construction

A new aquatic hot rod is taking shape at Douglas Marine/Skater, http://speedonthewater.com/new-boat-...r-construction.

Kind of a big day for news out of Douglas, Michigan.

So is this 318 pretty much taking the place of the 328? And can the 318 handle 6s? I know the 308 can't but the 328 can... Hmmm

Congrats!!

Going to be a very nice 30+ ft cat. Everyone told me my 30 handled & felt like a much larger boat so the enhancements made to create a 318 can only be a +.
Looking forward to following the build.

Should be interesting to see what it runs, I'm guessing 115ish.

I'm curious to see how much more it burns over the 300XS... that and what the real-world hp turns out to be.

i was saying it is going to almost be a sleeper. it will have no rumble like a normal cat and if the 400 is any where close to as quiet as the previous Verados he should come past you very quietly at 115 or 120 lol
