I rent houses from VRBO from time to time. Quite often, they come with options to rent Pontoon, Runabouts, and/or PWC when the houses are on the water. Keep an eye out for that option too.

I belong to a club. I couldn't imagine not belonging to one since I boat every weekend. Just not dealing with the amateurs at the public ramp is reason enough. Members are all 110th owners of the entire facility, own your own dock ect ect. No boats to use other than your own but I think that's a good thing

I've stopped at the gas dock there many times over the years. Unfortunately the only boating club on my lake is a sailing club! We used to have the NWSA club on the river but we are all too old and fat to do that anymore!
