Looking for a new shifter

Currently my boat has the standard bravo 502mag side mount shifter setup, The combo shifter/throttle majigger. Does anyone make a side mount offshore style control? Ideally it would have a tall lever for the throttle and a smaller lever for the shifter.

This looks like what I want, but the description is woefully vague.

I suppose I could make one. I have a dremel tool and some scrap cast iron.....and a small machine shop. :)

Dana marine makes some cool billet controls you may like.

This was a neat thread, only cost me $711.

Another option is to use one of those throttle pods with a regular dual lever control.

Here's an example. Other places sell them too. http://www.acemarine.biz/gallery2.asp?subject=73

Too late! Eric @ Teague was helpful as can be and got that sucker headed my way.

The dana is definitely the one I've been eyeing up to replace that eye sore of an ancient mercruiser one in my boat

I should have payed more attention to removing the old throttle, I have the shifter reversed and it's going to be a biotch to change. I have a feeling my shift habits will adapt.

As an aside, the front bottom bolt hole on the Dana unit perfectly aligns with the cutout for the factory Merc kill switch, aka you need a big washer.
