"San Francisco Offshore" jacket/coat & club ??
#1

Curious if anyone knows/remembers this club or whatever it is/was? I'd love to know the vintage of this coat.
I was in San Francisco for a business conference this past week, and noticed what appeared to be a homeless chap wearing this coat.
I offered him $20 to take a photo, for which he was quite grateful.
I was tempted to buy it from him, but he needed it much more than I did. And that coat made him the most interesting man I met that week.

Was a member; I have this jacket and other jackets, shirts, hats, etc. The core of the old group still gets together and does boating and other stuff.
My screen name came from that; SFO is San Francisco Offshore so I just changed offshore to ocean making SFOcean.

Here's a guy with less posts than his charter membership number which rang up 15 years ago. Talk about sitting back and taking it all in. Ya think this place would be a little less fanatical if more of us did more listening and only spoke when we had something positive to contribute? Yea I'm guilty....................
