WTB: Sunsation 288 MCOB

Looking for a well maintained Sunsation 288 MCOB. Only interested in 2005 or newer. Tim 847-404-2426

Still looking - not much out there that I can find. Anyone?

Gunrunner72 05-15-2015 01:34 PM

There's several on powerboatlistings.com

26ZX Donzi 05-15-2015 07:14 PM

That is what I thought at first as well. If you look closer several powerboat ads are 5 years old on their site. Additionally there is only one MCOB that is newer that is actually for sale and it is overpriced at best.

That is the one thing I don't like about that website, it's not current. You can get your hopes up until you look at the ad date. I usually look here, boat trader and classifieds. I know this doesn't help, but will keep my eyes open.

Should have added this, maybe consult with a broker who usually has access to more boats or may know someone.

Thanks Feverz - you being in Michigan may have the opportunity to see more 288's.

Detroit Craigslist, seen one today.

Love the boat on Craigslist, but cannot stomach $139,000 for a single engine black motor boat!

VetteLT193 06-17-2015 10:58 AM

If you are used to Donzi, why not a 28 ZXO?

I know you said 288 but have you seen the 32' MCOB on powerboatlistings.com? Having just made the jump from a 288 MCOB to a 32 I am enjoying the extra 4'. I looked for 6 months for a 32 MCOB and finally decided to try a closed bow since my kids are now grown but this 32' looks really nice and I think the price is right based on my recent search. The 288 is a great boat I loved mine I just wanted a twin engine 32' and it was the right time to make the move. Good Luck in your search.
