Gel coat repair in Ohio?
I posted a while back on this but cant find the old thread.
Its getting to be that time of year for repair and I have a ton of small nicks and dings in the gellcoat and fiberglass on my boat that need to be patched and painted. I need some recomendations for places in Ohio that do this type of work.
I am looking preferably around central Ohio but anywhere that does great work will do

Thrillseeker-
There is a guy in Columbus that does that kind of work for very affordable prices. I think he was around Grove City. My Dad had a 272 Baja he took to the guy for an estimate to do exactly what you are talking about. I remember him saying tht his work and his price both looked good.
I'll call him tonight to get the guy's phone number.

Good post Thrillseeker! I have a couple of things I would like to get an estimate on too. Also, I did a Ohio River Run from Athens to Marietta, 50 miles one way, it was a blast! I went to the Stern Wheel Festival and watched the fireworks. One of the best trips I've taken.
Hey FlyinBrian, I grew up in Grove City. Lived there for 20 yrs. I would be interested who this is. Would love to have the boat dings fixed by a local, especially someone in my own back yard! Find the # and post it.

Hey Columbus guys-
I talked to my pops tonight, he can't remember the guy's name or anything, (the memory loss comes with age ), but the guy was located off of US 62, near Frank Rd., (also known as Broadway for you Grove City people). The guy was recommended by Terry at Sizzle Marine to my Dad for those repairs. They used to farm out some of that work to him. He is supposed to be very good and reasonable. I think a quick check in the phone book for someone around Frank Rd. would narrow it down, or call Terry at Sizzle. He'll know.
Either way, let us know what you find out, I have some minor chips and knicks I want perfected too.
