This was a shot captured by Yvonne as my iPhone departed Freedom while trying to video the line up of cool Skaters. Running about 100mph in the is pic. The phone hit the scoop and pulled a nice Triple Lindy and disappeared into the rooster tail. It was a great weekend in Jacksonville.

It did hit it but we all watched it do a nice 30' set of flips and sail into the rooster.

JW was kind enough to fly me back from lunch to get a head start on getting a replacement.

I'm still cracking up that Yvo caught this on camera!

I'd say the replacement phone was cheaper than the damage that could've happened if it went in that scoop! :poopoo:

Saw that on fb. Love that she got it on camera. Boats are always finding ways to separate you from cash.

Middle of the river leading the poker run would probably not have allowed for retrieval. I do wish someone had caught the look on my face. I saw my complete work life flash before my eyes. :silenced:

You did have the phone backed up on a server................. right ?

About 2 weeks ago I did a backup. Lesson learned.

Gonna agree that it would've been more expensive had it gone down the scoop... Sucks about the lost work though.
