Your other point is even better taken, and it's worth remembering: Everyone annoys someone on the water with their particular activity. Tolerance isn't some abstract politically correct concept. It's a really a good idea, because the finger can always be pointed your way, too. Live and let live. Last, Tank, I so enjoy it when your face turns purple. But hey, humor wouldn't be humor if it did offend someone. |
I have a feeling that "David Miller, with boat dealership InterMarine in Fort Lauderdale" won't be selling any type of boat to anyone from this forum anytime soon.
lol. |
I get into the "Why do you have THAT kind of a boat" conversation with random people from time to time.
I tell them.....I like a boat that performs. When I hit the gas it GOES, It will corner so hard it will throw you right out of the boat. When I go out for a cruise I can actually GO SOMEWHERE. I can outrun weather. Cruisers do not perform, sailboats do not perform therefore I do not have one. At my old marina I would then ask the question "How long does it take you to go from here to the Narrows?" they would say "Oh 50 minutes give or take" I would say "I can do it in 12 " ............ "REALLY?....I gotta have a ride in that thing!" or Haters are just gonna hate.....jealous? tree hugger?.... like I give a s hit what you think |
