Boot,

If I have made it sound easy then I have misled you. Believe me, we have been at it for MONTHS!---and since the major glass work has been finished we have been re-rigging the boat for about 8 weeks. It would probably go a little faster, but were doing it a couple days out of the week, a few hours at a time. We're really trying to concentrate on doing things as correctly as we can and take our time---that can be a hard thing to do when you want to go boating real bad. But we're almost there.

Hey Mark,

Man I hope you get it all together. There's nothing like the sound of big inch motors in the morning. Sounds like..... Freedom! Ha. Friend of mine down here in Tx. just dropped the 1st motor in his year plus Fountain Executioner project. Really gets the blood boiling when they fire off.

Tried to call you yesterday. Too bad I missed the correct # by 1. I'll call again in a little while. Unless you can't hear the ring for that wonderful 5000 rpm sound of freedom!

Boot,
Cangrats on your project too. Just got me a PSD so I been noting some of you posts. Nice to have such good info around here. Ain't OSO great.

Crazyhorse,
You Corps too? We might just have to have a reunion for all us green monsters. Definately hoist a few on Nov. 10th anyway.

Good Luck Ya'll
Top Raz

UPDATE: Well gang, we're a little closer today! Oil cooler brackets have been fabricated, installed and checked for fit. We had to take some measurements for -16 water cooling lines and -12 oil lines going from the KE Thermo Filters to the coolers. We will need to cut these lines for length and add the Areoquip fittings that we will be needing for the correct angle and look. We also need to relocate and remount the fuel pressure regulators. Lots of fabrication, time and work let me tell you, but boy she is comin' to us and she's lookin' good! Oh yeah!

Hey Top Raz, nice chatin' with ya today! Semper Fi

From here we have yet to:

Mount the KE fuel/water filters and connect fuel lines

Wire/connect ignition boxes

Mount/connect hydraulic/power steering resevoir

Connect -4 mechanical pressure lines for oil, water, fuel guages

Mount carbs/linkage

Add oil/prime engines

Set distributors/add spark plugs

Systems check

Attempt to FIRE

Water TEST

GO BOATING

At least I hope it's that easy!

Shawn,

If your heading north on I-196 take the Douglas exit (#36) and head into Douglas. It is probably less than a mile up the road on the right. I think the road is Enterprise but I'm not quite sure....my truck just seems to pull into there all by itself for some reason

Shawn/29Scarab,

I'm sorry, I guess I didn't give very good directions to the Skater factory. Playn has given good directions. Once you get off the I-196 exit you'll be on Blue Star Hwy and the road that the Skater Factory is on is probably not even a 1/2 mile down on the right. You can see it from Blue Star Hwy. My cell is 616-291-7932
