Running decent speeds in decent seas for thousands of hours will fatigue any boat that can do so with off the shelf power with a warranty. I don't need pretty boats, just ones that do their job for thousands of hours without experiencing structural failures

That helps.
The folks behind AT have significant experience in several 'modes of transportation' and associated design & engineering processes. Think of how body-on-frame and uni-body vehicles have been somewhat opposite over the past 20-30 years. And now the line is so blended, it's tough to differentiate.
I hope we have an opportunity to have a deeper conversation and an opportunity to 'open the kimono' on how we design Active Thunder boats around core strength.
Related: spending time investigating layup schedules, solid hulls vs. cored; what's in the coring and used for materials, and overall innovation is quite valid here.

Depends, if you want to be first on scene.

Edit, just a wag on my part thinking of reasons for spartan boats &and thousands of hours.

I vote no on that but you may be closer than some. Driving experience outfits use out of date equipment including Petty (Older ARCA/Busch cars). Much easier to pick up a bunch of used equipment for poser type guys to play around with. Now then...if it was a Spec Class Racing Organization with Arrive and Drive racers say like Skip Barber...he'll need exact alike equipment or the racers would not think they are racing on the same level playing field. Since this request is for various lengths, different setups with regards to Outboard and IO...it's not a Spec Racing deal.

Carry on,

Sidney
