Glad I was not out on the river this past weekend - might have run into this drunken idiot.

Dude was apparently driving around the marina mooning people before he ran his boat up into someone's back yard. One stupid decision will live in infamy. Just glad he did not become another story about a fatal accident.

Hold my beer and watch this..

Yes, there are stupid boaters, hope they keep him off the water or out of a vehicle.

I`m impressed how far he made it onto that lawn. Id guess he was going a little faster than 35mph?

Friend of mine who was down there said someone yelled at him to slow down in a no wake zone, and that's what made him think it would be a good idea to do some donuts in the marina and moon some people. Apparently he lost control of the boat during one of his donut manuevers. I guess he managed to get up enough speed to get way up there, although there isn't a lot of room in that marina to get going that fast. But idiots have a way of defying the laws of physics and reason.

And surely he'll be the butt of many a joke!

As for not charging him 'cuz the cop didn't witness it, I thought by now all states would let a cop make an arrest at a DUI crash, or at least the cop could write a report and request charges through the prosecutor.

I wonder if the cop saw the cell phone video that they posted in the article. Seems to me that combined with him being extremely intoxicated when the officer arrived would be enough to bust him for BUI. I wonder how this will affect his employment situation. The news site posted info about his employer, so you know they are going to know about it.

Was on Cumberland last week. I could see pretty good when the moons out. Hammer down. :)

I bet his boat has a real pissy smell to it when he gets it back. Just Sayin'.
