Gulf Shores / Orange Beach Things to do??

Going on a family vacation from July 11 until July 17th to the Gulf Shores / Orange beach area.

I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations as to things to do and or see, places to eat/ drink.

Is there anything boating related that's worth checking out, events, cool docks to hang out at ect?

Any other notable activities??

Thanks

Flora Bama yacht club. Pirates cove. Robinson island. These 3 are the best if your taking boat. Plenty of fun stuff in the area. Pm me for details I know the place well.

25 Daytona,

Just checked that out. That looks like a good time. Noted

Edit, Not bringing the boat. Not looking forward to the drive, let alone while dragging a boat.

naw no boat, buddy bought a house on Cotton Bayou canal, just rode in his center console, Its been years since weve been down there, its grown up and bussy. I noticed there is alot more sand/beach places to pull up to. The last time we were there west side of Robinson island was the only place to pull up to in a boat,

the Jelly fish were pretty bad

My favorite eats at Gulf shores.

The Original Oyster House- oysters on the half shell ( of course) and blackened shrimp and cheese grits ( dont laugh, a best seller)

PapaRacos pizza- seafood pizza. (It's a dive but the food is great)

Head to The Warf for shopping and dining

Taking notes.

25 Daytona

Not doing the boat thing, I haven't had it even out yet.

The weather here has been horrible for any kind of boating. Lots of rain and cool. Every local lake is up, and the Ohio River is 10' above pool and has been that way for the last month or so.

Looseconnection I'll shoot you a PM in the next day or 2.

Thanks
