What normally happens in this type of case? Insurance company pays out the claim and then sells the boat as salvage?

yep, then some yahoo buys it for $8,000 at the salvage auction, puts in some used motors and lists it for sale for $79,900 mentioning it was a freshwater boat, 2 owner, mint shape but always seems to omit the submarine duty.

A beak is the fastest water craft known to mankind, and usually filled with the hottest girls on the planet.:fear:

Wouldn't it have a salvaged title by then?

tied up to the shore.....while the sunk fountain sucked, the snakes love the tie off lines, hell they love the water for some reason down there and you thought "snakes on a plane" was bad......

you would think so but some states don't seem to brand the title like they can on cars......

I can think of a 38 Powerplay, 38 TS TG and a 36 Gladiator that all got wet in salt water and have been marketed as "fresh power" without mentioning the time underwater.

so that and sh!t brown water makes the lake boating so great then! :D

There is that one lake that is turquoise blue in Michigan that looks good but something gives you "lake itch" or something if you go in the cold water?:party-smiley-004:

Certain states don't even title boats. Register it up here and all you have left is a registration and bill of sale when you sell it.
