All I know is that alot of the "high brow" yachtsmen changed their tune about our noise boats after we had a poker run there this year ....... all their wifes wanted rides and we dumped about $7500.00 into the clubs profits for the year !!!!! They were real sweet on us after that !!!!!!! As a matter a fact ..... one of the big Sea Ray guys bought Springbrooks 41 Apache after being involved in the run........ Every time I've taken a die hard sailboater out for a ride they are always pleasantly surprised at how much they enjoyed it!!!!!

HP-your post got deleted because you said "crap" and "ass". This a very conservative board. Three years ago I got the boot for posting the word "Fellato". This board is comprised entirely of cruisers and sail boaters. As evidenced by this thread, they will never have an open line of thinking to our way of boating. The only thing is that we should not stoop to their level by stereotyping all cruisers and sail boaters as being stooges.


Les has obviously answered your question HP. Go fast boaters ARE NOT WELCOME on his board. He obviously is willing to boot anybody that doesn't support his position, so why bother? What an ass.

Personally I'm not a member of that site so I don't promote it or recommend it. Would be nice if all references to that website were deleted from this thread, why send him clickers??

Funny thread reading though. Should have let me known about it earlier and I would have joined ya for only a few comments.

I feel sorry for such narrow minded people. It's hard NOT to fire back with replies, but what happens thereafter amounts to nothing more than a pi$$ing contest. Item 4 says it all, but the half Sicilian heritage side could have easily written a 3 page response.
