E-15 . . . . . .

How will we know when E-15 starts to show up at local gas stations? Will the nozzles be different?

Knot 4 Me 07-20-2015 10:05 AM

There is E-15 and E-30 in my area. No differences in nozzles.

Speedracer29 07-20-2015 10:17 AM

You will know E-15 is around when marinas and power equipment dealers start posting help wanted ads that specifically list "carb/fuel system experience a plus".

One of our local State Representatives in Indiana said that the pumps will have to be marked in some way.

What a terrible idea, e10 was dumb enough .

Too Stroked 07-20-2015 06:20 PM

The current / proposed EPA standard says all you need is a warning label on the pump. Yea, that'll work.

it works so well they now want to export our oil to other countries i say lets keep every drop of oil and export the ethanol crap i,m sure they can remove the bittering agent so that its almost pure moonshine! by the ship load

Nova Rob 07-20-2015 11:34 PM

I hope this thread stayes alive I've never heard of e 15 or e 30 only e 85 , so is it a scale the lower the# the hotter the moonshine? I'm with you boostbros we keep the necter for us ship the biproduct out.

I've been checking the pumps for stickers but most don't even have the 10% ethanol stickers anymore. Is E-15 in Michigan?
