hatch actuator ?

Mine stop working fortunately it was not down all the way. So I have been on the hunt.... There seems to be options out there. I really don't feel like spending $400 to replace the painted one (that worked fine for 15 years) with a shiny polished one. It's a 24 inch stoke. Wondering what ones you guys are using and how they are working for you.

What brand is current actuator? Couple of the companies will rebuild your unit IIRC the rebuild was about 60% of replacement cost. It's been a few years but think it was Lenco that did mine.

The motor is fine... The ram just seems to keep getting stuck
I'm not sure what brand mine was... It was painted over ... Any Donzi guys know what they used?

Cole2534 07-31-2015 07:52 AM

Take it apart? Just a motor, clutch, couple gears and a screw.

mptrimshop 07-31-2015 09:23 PM

I did... I think the ram is bent... Keeps getting stuck

Bring your current actuator to your closest Warner Linear distributor and have them identify it. I work for Applied Industrial Technologies ( a large Warner distributor, there should be one close to you) and I've gotten a couple of my buddies these for their boats. Should save you some money. Good luck! http://www.warnerlinear.com/K2x.asp

Got granite counter tops? They're usually flat. Roll it and see?

Good luck!

Seems awfully expensive for the Warner. I'll take a look at pricing monday when i go in the office.

Could this work for you? No idea on cost. Found it and bookmarked for future reference, since mine is Acculift. I know I saw a page that showed the different sizes/lengths, but dang if I can find it again.

Just found some contact info that was listed to be good as of March, 2015 by someone on another forum. Maybe it still is.

Well seems that CP might be the best route...every place I call will not sell to me. They all sell threw dealers.... Dealers that know nothing about this product. They take days to get back to me... And then they still have no clue what they are selling. The only price I could get out of anyone was $700 from Warner. The strange part is when I asked the factory about what price range they felt it should be they told me $150-280. I never thought this would be so hard..., I could always order a cheap China one off eBay for $80-120. But then I have a feeling my worst fear will come true.... A hatch i will have to cut open to get into.

This is where i got mine. Think it was like $140. https://www.firgelliauto.com/collect...ators/over-20/

When you put the new one in, change the wiring to use a relay from the switch and activate the actuator with a wire direct from the battery. Much better than your 15 year old wires. do a search on OSO the diagram has been posted.

mptrimshop 08-17-2015 03:19 PM

I'll look into that.
