Default Helicopter Crash at Cumberland help needed

This message was taken from Lake Cumberland's message forum.

photographer from crash

hello,
i am the photographer that survived the crash this weekend. let me first state that we did not collide with the water because we were flying too low. early indications point to engine failure. secondly, i am looking for video footage, testomny, photos, anything that will help put together the investigation of this crash, etc..... if anyone knows of someone or has something, i may be reached via e-mail at [email protected] or at my office at 941-926-3888. thanks to everyone involved for their help.

I'm with you. I'm sure the're wanting proof of what happened. So far I've heard the they smacked the water with the skids. They turned to sharp and hit the rotors in the water and a couple more. I did hear people say they had videos of the crash. I hope they'll come foward and help out

I was there but had my head turned the other direction when they went down. If they did have an engine failure the skids would touch the water. Either way the engine failed. Chicken and egg situation.

Tim,

John said he had his head turned when it happened too. I guess you all were looking at the same thing(s).
