This was very sad news to read. I met Jo, Pepe and Linda prob 15 years ago during a visit to Pantera. They were all so very kind and generous with their time and Jo's wealth of knowledge was amazing! Godspeed Jo - prayers to the entire Nunez family!!

In case of any of you missed it, I wrote my OSO column on Jo yesterday. I quoted some of you, too. RIP Jo.

Great write up Jason, thanks for sharing.

I will never forget my first ride in a Pantera w/ Jo. We didn't tool around on the ICW by Hauler, No Sir straight out the cut & jumped waves like clock work along the Miami shoreline. That very sea trial on another customers boat is what sold me and eventually another Pantera 28 was born.

I can only imagine what Pepe and the family are going through to lose someone so young and so close. God Bless you Pepe and your family. I never met Jo but I did speak with Pepe on several occasions when I setup my boat with outboard motors. He was very gracious with his knowledge and time even though I don't own a Pantera. I did run the grey 28' that Larry Goldman sold to Rick Merola(throttle man) for Aqua Mania. Awesome product. I'm sure by speaking to Pepe that his son became just as gracious and talented as his father. RIP what a Legacy

I enjoyed seeing the pictures of him teaching his son to race carts. Sad to hear.

Friends, an Instagram page "pantera_boats" has been created in Jo's memory. Please follow it and send in your pics so they can be displayed or simply tag them "pantera_boats. Jo was a long time friend of mine.
