I was wondering if any knows about the weekend after Labor Day at Cresent Bar Washington..........779Skater

This 779Skater or Mitch. Did you go to crescent bar? Would like to hear about it if you did. I saw the scream and fly video. Looked like a low turn out.......Mitch

Yeah,go fast wise turn out was pretty sparce. Too bad it was high nineties , a great day !

I was there until 2pm on Friday only. My wife committed us to go hiking at Multnomah Falls on Saturday.

Next year to go to Crescent Bar on Friday and Saturday.

I would have gone if I knew in advance it was happening. I have property in Wenatchee. I just sold my house there, two weeks ago.

It seemed to be a well kept secret this year for whatever reason. I looked all over the net and didn't see a thing about this year, at least until this thread popped up. I'm only 15 miles away on the next pool upstream so it was easy to check out.

Yah, I didn't know about it until I saw the thread. Saw the title and thought finally a place I've been. Most of this forum is mostly Florida and east coast related.

Yeah the left coast doesn't really exist here, although most of us are lake boaters.:confused:

The NW Scream and Fly rally pretty much as a standing date and location. The week after Labor Day at Crescent Bar, see you next year.

Mitch I will give you a call in a day or two.

There is or maybe its was, a lake Chelan poker run. I went in 2014. I didn't try this year because all summer I couldn't cross the border.

The old NWoffshore website isn't being supported any longer, but yes every year its the same. The weekend after labor day. However, they are re-arranging crescent bar now and 2015 was the last year of the campground. I'm sure 2016 will be the same weekend, but lodging will be much different. Most the events are now on Facebook, via PNW Performance Boats.

Campground going away or just being run differently?

The campground is being turned into a park, no more camping. (that's what we were told anyway)

Did you hear that next year the Crescent Bar campground is closing? Call me if you get a chance..........Mitch

There will be a new campground where the driving range currently is behind the Sandtrap bar. I was told this recently by someone whose family has a condo there so I believe it to be accurate information. My friend did not know when this would be started so it may or may not be done by next summer. The Sandtrap will also be demolished. Probably a good thing!

An update, the campground will be open in 2016 I guess now. They are taking reservations. Scream and Fly for anyone interested is always the weekend after Labor day.
