Picked up and delivered my new ride to myself!
 

My GF and I just picked up and delivered to me, my new ride. LOL After selling my 24 Pantera I wanted to get back into outboards and something a little more practical but still remain in the performance realm. I did A LOT of research, tire kicking, sea trials and visiting the builders in New York, Florida and Michigan. The final outcome was my recent purchase of this 2014 Renegade 31' CC with twin Verado 300's. With the addition of an optional bow sun pad, this Renegade has everything I was looking for, style, performance and practicality. Thanks to the folks at Renegade for their hospitality during my visit and to the original owner who was more than generous during the sale process.

I was kind of hoping you'd pick up that 2008 30' Concept SD from Grand Sports Center, trick it out and fire-sale it to me in a few years, but the Renegade is nice, too, I guess.....

I spent a lot of time and energy looking at the blue demo 2015 Concept SD that was for sale on Boattrader. I went to Florida and looked at it and got a tour of the factory. That may have been the best deal in the country. They were giving it away rigged with brand new Verado 300's, but ultimately the SD is a four person cockpit with no place to lay out except one person on the rear bench which was a big deal to me. I do love the styling of the SD. The 30 SD at GSC is nice but those X's burn way too much fuel. I had one on my Talon.
