It was nice to meet every one. Jack and Dan Thanks for the work to put these runs together. I wish we could have stayed in Hammond longer to talk with more of you but thats what future runs are for.
The start sure was interesting for us. To my suprise the backend of our boat started to come around on us hooking to the righ off some wake I hope nobody was right behind me. My tiebar was stolen a couple of weeks ago so the transom assy. are showing just how worn they are. I think my son saw God for the first time. It realy screwed with his head the rest of the ride down.
The heli photos is a great idea but if people get missed it is not worth paying for. It would be as simple as having radio comunication with the chopper. Just a simple FRS with an ear set for the heli. That way he knows what boats to shoot. Give the other set to a start boat to let the boats go. This way if you want a shot of somthing differant you can let the heli know. If you get the angle you were wishing for the heli just might sell more photos as well.
