We built a quad boat on spec and sold it. Client loves it. We built a triple boat for customer order. He loves it. We are building another one on spec right now. Awesome motors.

Sweet

ktron 08-27-2015 08:18 AM

I believe there is a 32 Skater being re-rigged with them as well.

28skater 08-27-2015 08:32 AM

I am really curious to see how they run on the cats- especially the Skater 30. I thought this boat was going to be ready for july? I've seen pictures of the motors mounted, whats the eta? They must be a much smoother motor than the 300xs?

bsboss 08-27-2015 09:48 AM

Seems like I'm seeing more outboards lately? Is this a trend? I took a ride in a twin cat with outboards, even though I miss the big block sound I was impressed!

Yes that is true also. It is the one that sold with triple 300x's on it. 32B with wraparound windshield.

freshwaterfiend 08-27-2015 11:55 AM

Look in the LOTO thread - there's a boat there with 5 400's on it!

sy goldberg 08-27-2015 12:35 PM

I just insured a 5 400 engine boat,and I bet I will see a 6 engine in the near future.

You mean the 328 flat deck perhaps that was on here with trips for sale

Yes, that is the boat.

turbo rr 08-27-2015 05:07 PM

I am curious to see if anyone went from tripp 300 to a pair of 400's. See what the performance difference is. Any guesses?

28skater 08-27-2015 08:04 PM

I'd like to hear some feedback on performance and reliability- instead of how many motors a CC can fit.

Wow

Double Rigged 09-09-2015 09:00 AM

Saw this last night as well. Jury's still out for me. Let's see what the final numbers are. I am sure Grant will get the most out of it. Should be a good indication for the 30's wanting more.

ktron 09-09-2015 11:09 AM

Grant and his crew did such a nice job on this boat!

skate 09-09-2015 11:34 AM

They really look right at home on the back of the 32. Now lets see how they run! Best of luck and please keep us posted.

hogie roll 09-09-2015 12:37 PM

So how does it run?

Sam, Did you know that I can predict the future? LOL:riding:

Nastybug 09-09-2015 04:46 PM

There is an article in Speed on the Water about this 32 Skater. They have first run numbers on it and are on the limiters hard.

Pete B 09-09-2015 04:58 PM

Grant's Signature Racing and Shoot2Thrill Pix will be doing a photo shoot while conduct some propeller testing in the am. There will also be a compete story on the de-rig and re-rig in Speed on the water in weeks to come. Grant is one of the best set-up guys around, it will turn some good numbers once he is done with it!

Nice, that motion looks good.

Be wary of that steering

Yea would be very uneasy with the tie bar in the front. I waited months for mine to be modified by merc to have the tie bar system attached to the back of the motors. Much safer setup I believe. Lots of pressure on that piece of equipment. Cant imagine what it would be like if that thing broke loose at 100mph plus.
