Help with BPM V12 engines

I have a BPM V12 that I'm trying to get repair parts for. Are there any OSO friends in Italy, that have contact with the factory that are willing to help me? I have tried repeatedly to contact he factory with no luck. I was told that they close for vacation for the whole month of August, is that true?? I need a complete gasket set including head gaskets and extra valve cover gaskets and a set of 10 under mains. Any help or know of anywhere I can get these parts?? Thanks in advance.

Most of Europe shuts down for August and goes on holiday. Give it another week. Try Sonny Miller if you can't get anywhere. [email protected]

I have bin there twice as I went there for vacation nearby and have visit the factory and got a tour of the owners (vader and son) that was also in august so don t think there closed but they do have a long lunch break there :) two friends of mine own 3 of there v 8 twin turbo engines so we where looking there for parts .
They also build parts for the Bpm drives so you can try that route
Did you call or email ?

RMPRam 08-29-2015 10:42 AM

I have been trying their e-mail for the past 3 weeks with no response. I have not tried to call them, but I may have to if it comes to that. Do you know of another source of gaskets and main bearing sets beside going directly to BPM? Are the main bearings a standard European size? We could not see any markings on the set we took out of the V12 engine. Any idea what company makes the main bearing set for them?? Thanks for any help.

bor 08-29-2015 11:05 AM

Its a old school company so calling work a lot better !:)
They build almost everything in house cool to see the old machines that make a crank out of a billet piece of steel instead of the cnc machines they use these days ,but I will ask my friend about the gaskets and main bearings he probaly know that as he s a engine builder and have taken the v8 they have a part so he know what s in it .

Thanks. Let me know as soon as you are able to contact your friend. Are you still able to get parts for your BPM engines from the factory? If need be, maybe I could go thru you to get the parts that I need.

RMPRam 08-29-2015 11:26 AM

I believe the BPM part # for the main bearing set is 70 00 05/A and the o ring set is 74 00 11 and the cylinder head gasket set is 74 00 12
The main bearing front and rear are #40 02 12 and the center 5 bearings are # 40 02 13

Anything you can do to help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Do you have a e-mail for them? Or a complete address so I can look them up on the web?

Engineer Pasti runs the place. They are first class. Call them on September 1 and you will have no problems.

I'll bet you worked on a few Magnum projects powered by those! I'm off to Cowes next week.
I'll say hi to Sonny Levi for you.

That's what I thought. There probably isn't enough of their V12's out there to make it worthwhile for them to gear up for a small production run.

If you cant get a hold of the factory, try these guys : https://www.flatoutgroup.com/
They make custom gaskets...had some custom stuff done for me that was VERY reasonable... just found them by chance...owners name is Mark..

RMPRam 09-04-2015 11:18 AM

Thanks everyone. They did finally contact me, as Brownie stated, they were on holiday for the month of August. Parts have been ordered.
