Sonic 386 power options
My Buddy is looking at buying a Sonic 386.
Does anyone have positive or negative feedback on this model?
How much HP will it take to push this hull to 85mph? I know there is a Sonic in the APBA factory II class, how are they doing?
Thanks for the insight.

the boat is really not too competitive in any water conditions...i think every manufacture has the ability to do well racing....but at what level?
ps...we are not talking about anything but a race boat??...you asked....
my guess is 575 or 600's

Actually, it would be purely a pleasure boat. I know Sonics aren't the fastest on the water but probably one of the most comfortable due to super deep v and stand up head room. I was really shocked to see one racing.
I thought 575SCs would be the ticket to hit 80-85.
