Suction Cups To Hold Fenders?

I saw a video on youtube looked like they were using suction cups to hold the fenders on a boat with no rub rail when docking. Makes sense, especially so you don't have to keep jockeying the boat to get the fender to line up with the pilings based on cleat location. Anybody do this? If so, what brand suction cup do you use? I did a google search and everything that I found looked pretty cheesy.

I bought a couple of the suction cup shower handles and use those so far so good. Haven't used a lot though

JoAnn fabrics has 3 inch suction cups I've used for this purpose before, with smaller fenders.

I sent Gino a message about this very thing today. He has(had) a really nice setup on the Lambo boat. He may still be in Europe but hopefully he will chime in.

I got the ones that SkaterMike has in his 388. Very convenient.

I have not used them for fenders but for temporary handles when entering and exiting my boat. Try harbor freight. They have single and dual suction cups with handles. They are very strong.

Get some gopro suction cups... you can do ridiculous speeds with your fenders attached :)

Terry Sobo has done some neat things w/ those SeaSuckers. He sells them w/ cleats & what he calls a Line Tender which has multiple purposes. Original intent was to keep stern lines from dropping down in between outboards when dock somewhere you have a tide & need to cross your stern lines. I use it on my gunwale when washing my boat to keep the hose from scratching my boat.

I believe they can be sourced at line-tender.com

Thanks Mike.

Yes we have the Line-Tender.com as well as a cleat mounted to a 4" Sea Sucker.
