Thanks for clarifying.

Will the XS straight skegs fit on a 2004 300X?

Really need to keep facts straight. All offshore 300xs's come with straight skegs no torque tab unless specified. Also motors posted are Rayzor's 15" 300xs's with custom 15" taylor mids and DBR tuner and clamps from his 280's. A lot of money invested and a really nice job.
The cowlings are from 300x so that the would fit the mid section.

So let me see if I understand this. When they say the skegs are straight they mean they don't have any camber in them to account for the torque oversteer so to speak. They are all swept back regardless. A single motor set up would have the torque tab/camber built into it. Making it wider on one side a bit.. Twin motors don't have them because they push against each other and have a tie bar in between? Am I getting it or totally wrong.

Hey Steve,

Here's a pic of a twin-motor boat that are 2.4 200HP

The motor on the starboard side is a straight skeg

The motor on the port side is a swept skeg

One can order 300XS motors with straight skeg with the 300XS Offshore model

I believe all 400R motors come only as swept skegs
