WOW, what a wonderful weekend for my wife Tommie and I. It is almost like a dream. Pulled down and back in heavy rain, but Saturday was beautiful and the twin 500's did not miss a beat, were run hard and the oil level is still full.

I have to send a very special thanks to Craig, all the wonderful members of the Jacksonville Powerboat club and the great firefighters there who put this all together to raise money for MDA.

Craig, Tom, Mike, Monty, Bill Jr, Bill Sr, Jeff, Larry (you ain't right boy), Jim and especially Robin. Robin you are a real gentlemen. It was a great pleasure to make the entire run with you and that very nice 38 Scarab.

There were too many wonderful people to list eveyone. It was a real pleasure to meet you all.

Also a special thanks needs to be made for my new friends Russ Floyd aka "Bullet Proof" his lovely wife and friends and Paul & Liz in the 35 Cafe Racer. Guys, you are the best.

This is the best run event I have ever been to. There were some awesome boats and I know as the word gets out that this event will become one of the most popular events of the year.

hey, we took a small beating in that velocity, but it had a brand new motor with ZERO hours when we started, It ran all day without missing a beat, by the end of the day we had almost 8 hours on it. A big hats off to "Kid Rock" for some great driving and for the invite to his new friends Billy and Lisa while our boat was down. Russ, sorry, my scanner wont go down to a pic small enough to show the shots from the Bahamas. when I figure it out you WILL laugh your butt off.. DOC, great meeting you and the MRS. hope to see you guys in my town in October. Your money is no good here, you will have to party with the locals.

Glad to hear you had a great time! Did you get to keep any money that you won or did it go back to charity?

What kind of mufflers were on that Outerlimits? Did they seem to make any difference? I think I might need some of those.:)

I don't know what they were? They did seem however to work. As we were lined up in the no wake, I thought the boat was fairly quite for what it is. Although I was probably 100 feet off it's starboard side when they idled by. Maybe someone else can give you some better information on it.

How is the water level on Norman? Bet you cannot get into Mid Town? I tried to contact Nichols about the poker run he is doing, have you heard anything?

It is beautiful, the wife has it on video, but did not get a digital picture.
