383 stroker oil leak

I have a 1996 252 SS with a 2005 or 2006 Mercruiser 383 Stroker engine in it. I noticed 2 weeks ago a drop or two of oil in my bilge area, then last week there was more than a couple of drops. Being where my bilge pump is located and the design of the hull there is always some water in the bilge. I determined it was definitely motor oil being I was down about a 1/4 of a quart on the dip stick, I tried looking all over to see where it was coming from but was unsuccessful. I'm not sure if there is an oil drain line that it used to drain through the drain plug, which I was told sometimes leaks. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah that oil drain line can start leaking. In my case I had put some rubber valve cover gaskets on. Had pretty bad leakage. A lot oil gets splashed around in those covers. Went back to the tried and tru cork gaskets.
