Does this only involve Tim and his wife or are there "employees" that everyone needs to be wary of as well? Just curious since the original OCM was based here in Portland and I may run into some of his "colleagues" here...?

Putting the stories together, and I believe the boat was sold/stolen over a year ago, and may have gone to the Sacramento California area. Some stories mention it being wrecked in a road accident, while another has it seized in a drug bust.
I'm am not sure how true this is, but about a year ago Tim had mentioned a african american buyer from the Sacramento area. He told me the deal fell thru, but this may not be the case. That being said, anyone remember hearing anything like this in that area. Thanks Beertruck |
Here is the bad news if you lost a boat to this a'hole and want to claim it stolen to the INS company.

If the boat was sold illegally by someone other than the rightful owner you would think it becomes stolen and insurance would come into play - as in covering a stolen boat. Thoughts?
