I just checked the October issue of Boating and didn't see anything. Could it have been in last month's issue?

rtaylor, it's just a small article....one of the "we test" articles. It's on page 34 of the October issue of Boating.

Thanks, Waterfoul. I'll have to look more closely. I don't want to miss anything picked up in the press about these boats.

Having the honor to race with Fast Eddie this year and being a friend of the owner of Superboat I can say it one hell of a boat. Driving this boat down the Manasquan River,NJ the boat felt like a 30' Cadillac on water. Even while racing, the boat flew and landed very well. I always knew it was a good boat watching it race but driving it for Fast Eddie(in Race) let me really appreciate how great of a boat the Y2K really is!!!!!!

I just wanted to bring this back to the top because John at Superboat is offering a SPECIAL ON HIS 30' Y2K FOR UNDER $50,000 COMPLETE w/496HO!!!

Talking about a great bang for the buck! I really don't think there's a nicer boat on the market today for the money... and they perform! For those of you looking for a 28-32 boat, give John a call because he has some really hot specials now.

I'll have to find a back issue of that mag. Superboat doesn't get much media coverage. I have a '24 and it is a great boat. If you want frilly cup holders and other BS items, Superboats are not for you.

Comparing similar power and size, my '24 does not get out-run very often.

A friend and member of our TIPBC club just took delivery of the one with the black hullsides on the website. Can't wait to run with it! That boat is super-sharp. I know he told me back when he ordered it how good these people were to deal with. That kind of advertising can't be bought.

7' Beam is pretty narrow although it would make a great Poker Run boat.
