Oh jeeze that's a heck of a drive from NY to run the boat 20 miles lol

There is some talk about getting a group together Friday and run back toward Jacksonville. Lunch would probably be at Whitey's Fish Camp, great boat parking. This would be about 80 to 90 miles round trip. The reason for this lunch run is to let our Northern brothers get some last running time and get that fuel burned off.

After dropping off the toys and having lunch Saturday a group will run down to Silver Glen and take a December swim in the 72 degree water. By going to the Glen that would add about another 100 miles of round trip running time.

As Russ said the river is up to 3 miles wide and NO speed zones.

Skate,

You can do this this run in any size boat. My son has done it in Pure Platinum and had plenty of boats his size and bigger doing the run. You can also do the run in a smaller boat as the river seldom kicks up much chop. Come on up and enjoy 2 days of running your boat in fresh water and not worrying about Wake Zones. The beer is on me if you show up. Bill sr

I'm down for the run south to the springs, count me in. Is Pure Platinum coming to this?
