Corvette Crate Motor
Looks like the 650hp Z06 motor is now available as a crate motor from GM. Think we will now see people putting them in boats?

I have seen a lot of news on these lately.
Same interest on the 427. So whats the deal with the COPO 427? Its rated at 455 HP but they run under a 9 sec 1/4 and pull the front wheels 3 feet. Thats a lot more then 455 HP. |
Why not, the 530hp supercharged 'LSA' made it to GM's marine line up a while back. Some ski boats and Jet boats offered it.

Anyone know what the price is? Padraig |
MSRP $15, 625.
I would wait for it to hit GMPP dealers in a little bit to find out what the over the counter price will be. Here's a snapshot of what's going in the GMPP catalog: http://image.superchevy.com/f/158618...fact-sheet.jpg |
Is GM trying to do horsepower ratings like its 1967 again?
Some of the stuff is rated at 600 HP and some stuff is rated at 450 that is obviously 650+ maybe 700+. |
That sure would look nice in my 240Z :)
