You can use MEK reduced with water to remove ink stains from vinyl but you need to be VERY careful. Wipe with moistened rag and immediately wipe with a dry rag.

The owner's packet that came with one of our new boats had an insert from the vinyl supplier (GT) that gave directions for caring for the vinyl. That info said to use denatured alcohol to remove ink stains. I tried it and it worked great. Be careful, though, some denatured alcohols contain acetone as a "denaturing" agent. You do NOT want acetone on vinyl.

Try hairspray. I know it's another crazy suggestion but I know it works on leather. Use the cheap kins in the spray can.
