I saw some snow flakes blowing around and thought winter must be close.

Then I came home and read this thread and thought yup, winter is definitely here.

Doesn't effect you? Not sure what it had to do with anything other than a straight dig at me.

The Fountain comment is a general in jest comment (fountain skanks) just like the Cig one about their logos and owners....yet you went to a personal approach on my...class act.

How I purpose something....if it's not your boat, your interest in buying, or have anything to do with you....keep your nose out of it and your comments to yourself.

You're wrong , you pretty much said fountains stink.

Ahhh yes...someone that knows my own opinion on something better than myself.

Please good sir, tell me more about me and my likes or dislikes since you seem to know them so well.

I hate the beak so bad that openly talked about getting one prior to the Sonic. Actually if the Sonic didn't go for sale the day it did I.would be the proud owner of a fountain today and would be just as happy about it.

But it's easier to blindly bash....so please.....carry on.

buck35 11-14-2015 06:54 PM

You young sir believe you live in mecca and cast boulders at everyone else and think you should be immune to any response.
Yes its warm where you live, and you're surrounded by wealthy people, many are crooks.
its about to be winter here , but you know what, I don't even have a key to my house because I don't need one .

You might have to sell hundreds of $5 burgers every day 7 days a week just to break even on the rent!

if youre renting yes. if you own the property your business is on youll have much less overhead.

Think you missed the point of the last few posts.

No harm no foul, I said many months ago I wasn't going to go down this road, and I'm not going to.
I did not disparage you're boat , family, or home!

So $1000 a day in rent, meaning your first 200 burgers a day are sold just to pay the rent!

Plus food costs, plus labor/taxes, utilities, etc. This week 200 burgers a day are no problem but I'm sure even Key West has slow weeks.

speicher lane 11-15-2015 08:20 AM

There's only one ingredient that would sell 200 burgers a day in a hurry... and I think it's only legal in 13 states.

That is steep rent...capitalize until you kill your prospects and then b*tch about the economy/government - crazy!

With so many gourmet Burger joints out there, what makes Burger Fi so special?

They claim better quality meat and I can attest to the better selection of beers on tap!

They recently opened one in Jupiter (next to Tiger Wood's new restaurant and other high end places). BurgerFi is always busy but the parking blows and they need to move a lot of traffic through the place to cover the rent. http://harboursideplace.com/

Just come out to the west coast and have the original - In n out baby.

I spent $25 in cab fare to try the one in Vegas last year when I went to SEMA.......It was ridiculously busy,,standing room only and the meal was cheap like McDonalds but it wasn't exactly the best burger I have ever had.

Are you sure it wasn't to many in and out logos on the burger wrappping........ :) just joking

tommymonza 11-15-2015 10:47 PM

In and Out was good when i visited back in Michigan years ago because they put olives on their burgers..

we had Fabels in Grand Rapids and the Mister Fabulous had olives on their burgers. Back in the day their Double Fabulous burgers blew everything away.

Even those chitty little White Castle burger snacks

Don't see any of them here in Florida but after hearing about this new Burger Fi joint on this thread i find out we have one 4 miles down the road in some chity strip mall out by 41 and the Ever Glades

Making me hungry

MMM Cheeseburger

Actually "In and Out" has a very simple menu, employees dressed in white (like the 1960's) and literally it was standing room only in the place! Looks like a perfect tri-fecta!

They don't own microwaves or freezers so the food is as fresh as possible and the company is owned by the great grandaughter of the founders! She is about 33, is a drag racer and is the cutest billionairess hamburger joint owner I have ever seen! She likes to fall in love (married 4 times so far) so some of you single guys might have a chance!

VoodooRob 11-16-2015 07:32 AM

Went to Burger Fi when we were in Florida last year, it was good not much more than that. Still a fan of Five Guys.

Canuck B Crazy 11-16-2015 11:11 AM

I was in California for business a lot in the early 2000's and did In n out every chance I got. Here we have multiple choices. We have a restaurant chain here called White Spot. The chain started in the 1920's and they are in every town in BC. They started a fast food burger joint called Triple O's, its very good. Then we have Five Guys and Fatburger, both are a little different from the American restaurants, they serve angus beef. Fatburger also has beer, wine, and some mixed drinks. A&W here is also very good. Its not part of the American chain, completely different menu and taste. Plus all the normal fast food places. A burger joint here is almost as crazy as trying to establish a pizza chain franchise.

Sydwayz 11-16-2015 11:20 AM

The only thing I like about In & Out is their hours when I end up traveling west. That's it. It's like White Castle IMHO.
I'm a big Five Guys fan; been going there (to the original one in the DC area, before the brothers got the dad to agree to franchise) for 20+ years.

But BurgerFi is a completely different league. The ingredients are fresher, the atmosphere is much more modern; not greasy spoon; and the side menu items trumps any of the other burger chains.

I will also say that TheCounter is even better than BurgerFi.

All the maryland fatburger franchises are owned by the late ravens player Orlando Brown, since his passing i dont know when or if they will open. We now have a smashburger to try.

Now I'm not gonna say In N Out is the greatest, but to compare it to White Castle is just wrong!! I ate at White Castle at like 2-3am once, yes I was drunk. And it was still lousy, now I can't imagine how horrible it would be when I would be sober at noon.

Wobble 11-16-2015 10:00 PM

I find the best tasting burger is the one you get to by boat. It really doesn't matter to me which kind it is. :drink:

Nate5.0 11-16-2015 10:27 PM

I know they are not in a lot of places bur if you get a chance burger 21 is very good and fresh just like burger fi.

Jupiter Sunsation 11-17-2015 09:22 AM

I honestly can't say I eat more than a single burger per month and when I do it is a single not a double/triple stack with tons of toppings. I used to eat 2-3 a week (20 years ago) but I really don't enjoy them anymore. If a meal gives me a "gut rot" feeling when I am done I usually don't repeat that exercise too often! I have been to BurgerFi probably 3 times in 2015 and it should be popular with area boaters since it is about 75 ft from free dockage! Years ago people would beach their boats in that same spot and run across a 6 lane road to go to McDonalds.

Five Guys is a greasy mess. Ate there twice and I really don't get their approach to greasy fries in a bag idea either.

Weird, I ate there last night too assuming you were at the one in Reston.

Holy crap i make one drunk post at Key west and the thing takes off.
I found Gino hanging out at Ricks so we talked for a bit.
Since i live in california we have in and out which are great burgers but not near the flavor of Burger FI, plus you put a great burger in a location like Key West and it it just made it better.
