Default Interview with Patrick Huybreghts: Pilots Survive Horrible Nor-Tech 427 Accident

Hi all

I had the opportunity to interview Patrick Huybreghts on his Nor-Tech 427 accident. Together with Shelley Jory-Leigh they were racing in Sardinia when disaster struck.
The GoPro camera registered everything. I was invited by Patrick to see the full video and as a journalist I have to be objective but these images really moved me. You can read the full interview here http://www.powerboating.be/content/view/911/236/ and see more unique pictures.

Wow! Incredibly lucky to have survived that crash! I've been wondering for a while about that spooky add in the classifieds. Looks like a job for the Taiwan guys to repair.......

Shame though, it was a good looking boat! Good luck with your recovery!

There will be one meaning ... there is the video of the crash and the one where the GoPro is filming the actual sinking. Pat will compose a video of this and some footage of the boat racing. I figure it will be around May 2016. As you can read, Pat is still recovering from an accident where he fell of a ladder destroying, hands, hip and feet. He is momentarily in hospital after another surgery.
