I totally agree with that..... But why cant they finish a less than 50 mile race?? some of those boats have had a year to prepare for this one event... I could have raced a 40 year old Cig with 330's and finished 3rd :) Whats that Pay :)
Now that's a whole diffrent story! Lol!! I agree- with today's technology it's pretty sad |
Maybe they are running too thick of an engine oil and Merc drive lube. Ha.

If it's mechanical - it's prone to fail.
No one was running conservative - look at the footage of the roost coming out of 2 and 4 - they trimed in but didn't back of the rpm's...Big $$$ spent to run hard - why b*tch about attrition when they are coming back on Sunday to run for all our entertainment?... Or am I missing something in the sarcasm? |

CMS 03 probably would have finished except for the huge hole in the boat.
Scism said the other CMS team—the CMS 03 48-foot MTI driven by Jeff Harris and throttled by John Tomlinson—was knocked out of the race early when Mike DeFrees and Todd Beckman drove over the back of CMS 03 in their Team CRC MTI and ripped a large hole in the rear portside of the boat, knocking the 48-footer out of the race. |
Does anybody know what happened with the Stihl boat Friday? Looks like he was taking on water.
