My post was just off the wall as really the best thing you can make out in the video was the headers. Really not funny on my end but with so many headers failures from CMI - I was trying to be funny. Ok so attempted humor that failed. I have no idea how this boat sank.

Hell all we know, he hit a floating lobster trap so hard at full speed that it put a hole in the bottom of the boat. I really have no idea how this boat sank.

Thats it, I will stay out of this one.

By the ragged edges left at the sheer of the hull and the fact that the deck is gone i would bet it caught fire and burned until it was extinguished by the leaky CMI headers because they had been repeatedly used in freshwater.

I laughed at the header post. It wasn't the same laugh as a 70's SNL skit, but it was a laugh nonetheless.

Wasn't trying to be tough...think the OP wanted a serious answer not a bunch of sarcasm. Additionally I've heard real life stories of people stating that engine/exhaust failures led to boats sinking. Wanted to know if there was truth to it...

No, stating it was funny in the Chevy Chase/Garrett Morris/Jane Curtin era. Now SNL is a bunch of twits pushing the MSM agenda with thinly veiled attempts at humor.
