Venture further west to Torch Lake, but maybe before 4th of July if you're not into pee water.

1000 Islands/St. Lawrence River. Absolutely beautiful! Make sure you have GPS or follow someone that knows the area or your drink won't be the only the on the rocks.

How big a boat? Looks like everything in your signature says sold. If you come up to Winni, have mufflers installed. I would say that would get you in trouble much more than the speed limit will. In fact, I have yet to see somebody being pulled over or ticketed for speeding, but have on numerous occasions seen people get ticketed or pulled over for noise. If you figure out a weekend to come up, shoot me a PM.

You could spend a whole summer up here and still not do everything this area has to offer! Watch out for the water police in Abay!

I only have experience with Winnipesaukee. Very nice lake, one of the best I've been on. My great uncle and aunt built a house there on the lake in the 80's. They have a pontoon boat and had fun exploring the area.
