I would love to get one of those. Awesome looking trucks! I am scared to death of a 6.4 out of warranty though. My 6.0 was an endless money pit. I guess Ill keep the trusty 7.3 until theres a bunch of 6.7s with a few hundred thousand on them trouble free.

Those are 450's though...they have the wide Trac 60 front axle..I agree the flairs don't look good but do some maneuvering with one and you will never go back to a regular dually. It's turning radius is awesome.

I love my 6.0. ..did the bullet proofing and it rocks. The 6.4 benefits from the same mods. A 6.4 with the deletes done and a tune is a 550hp truck all day long. I liked my 2002 7.3, but the newer motors and transmissions make a world of difference. The 6 spd auto behind the 6.7 is a sweet transmission. Nice deep low gears and tight splits to get you going even with a tall axle gear. I always thought a 7.3 with a 5 or 6 speed auto would be a sweet set up.

I have a 7.3L. I don't know what a turning radius is. I have a rudder, and hope for a strong breeze to assist.

Not sure why all this talk about smaller. Check out a 2015 F150 CrewCab and it is bigger than the current Super Duty. They also are giving a flat floor with the new cab which is awesome!

They dont share the same cab anyhow... the Super Duty is still bigger than the 150....The 17 will start production around July of '16

The last picture looks exactly like my 15 F150. With the rear seats folded its ample room for my 8 month old German Shepherd. My only complaint is the paint doesn't work well over the aluminum, especially in the door jams. It looks like it was painted with a roller brush inside all the doors. Maybe they'll be better on a more expensive truck. I don't normally buy American vehicles, but they do build the best trucks and SUVS before the Germans got into the segment. When I do buy American its been Ford!

I will be bummed if they go to a smaller cab. That was really my biggest gripe with my 05 Duramax, that the interior was too tight for me. I love the size of the current truck, the interior fits me like a glove. I also think they have the lines on the current truck done well. Whatever the hell these new vents are on the front fenders look awful. I may be biased though, I really love the looks of this truck.
I will say though I still prefer the 15-16 over the new one. |
Trying hard to get a new Super Duty for the Boyne Thunder street show. I know one of the managers in the promotion team. Public release won't be estimated until September 1st. I would hope they understand all the boaters make up a very high number of their customers.
