Floating boat lifts
Anybody have any experience with airdock or any other floating lift? I'm on a freshwater tidal river that has a 12-15 foot tide change so anchoring to the bottom is tough. Thanks

I have a sunstream 13K lift for my spectre, works very well

Non with air dock. But do know people with floating lifts not attached to a dock. Here is some examples: http://www.paradisedocklift.com/gall...-lift-gallery/
Its become near impossible here to build a private dock on the ocean, the permits are federal. So most ocean water front people, either have a boat house garage or use a floating dock on mooring buoy. The floating lifts on the buoy work well here. |
I had mine on a
airdock lift for 4 seasons. My only problem was the year I didn't clean the tubes when I removed for winter. That year a mouse made a hole and I didn't find it until one tube lost air when I first put the boat on it. Once we found the hole, it was easy to fix. Talk to the guys at Airdock. The will have a recommendation for that much tide. I'm on Lake Michigan, I hear we have 1" tide, but I've never seen it. |
Forgot to mention in most area's its ocean tides and they do well.

I've had airdock and sunstream V-lift.
Airdock can be susceptible to puncture, but it's less $. |
Thanks guys. I got a quote of $4700 from airdock and jet dock was $35k! I'm looking at floating ones that tie to dock only.

I have a hydro hoist 12,000 lb for my boat and love it. Works great and only hooks to the dock with two brackets side tie b model.
