The best lake is in Missouri, the "Show Me State".

Land of the HOLD MY BEER AND WATCH THIS.

Other than the death caused by the MHP/WP the majority are certainly natural selection-type stories.

You gotta be careful with statistics. The "best lake" is based on an opinion, but a guy has to look a little deeper into the "deadliest", as it can probably be supported or discounted by data. I'd would be interested in how they determined "deadliest". Does it have anything to do with figuring a ratio between hours on the lake vs. deaths, or just purely the number of deaths while not paying attention to how many people use the lake. Statistically, the most dangerous lake could be a 100 acre lake in Iowa that had 4 drownings last year. LOTO, comparatively, could be rather safe. Just sayin............

The reason Lake Washington is on the deadliest list is too many unlit boats are out there.

I definitely think much of the info used to make those lists is BS. I grew up in Syracuse which is where Onondaga lake is and nobody boats it cause axis chemical polluted the sh!t out of it. I live in buffalo now and hear they are trying to clean it up but I'm farely sure its still no where you would go boating.
